I’ve been a professional in dog care for 4 years but have loved and cared for dogs since I was 10. Born and raised in Las Vegas, I originally dreamed of becoming an orchestra teacher and professional violinist. I started studying Music Education at UNLV in 2018, but when COVID hit, I rediscovered my passion for dogs. That shift led me to become a Dog Trainer at a corporate pet store.
I have three dogs at home: Marley, a 12-year-old wire-haired dachshund mix rescue; Kaya, a 10-year-old wire-haired pup; and Josiah, a 2-year-old Maltese. Our household has tackled challenges like food aggression, leash reactivity, and resource guarding. Those experiences shaped my focus on making dogs’ emotional and physical well-being my top priority.
My training and grooming approach is stress-free, force-free, and based on modern, science-backed methods. I specialize in behavior modification (reactivity/aggression) and advanced obedience.
Through my journey, I’ve learned the importance of positive reinforcement and holistic training. Forceful methods don’t solve problems—they create more stress and weaken the bond between you and your dog. Instead, I teach skills that strengthen your relationship, ensuring your dog learns to respond to you—not just to tools or fear.
For training, I recommend consistency through my Walk-n’-Train sessions, which are designed to build good habits over time. Grooming sessions follow the same gentle, thoughtful approach, putting your dog’s emotional and physical well-being first!
When you work with me, you can trust your dog is in caring, capable hands, and together, we’ll create a happier, more confident pup!
