Home Training

This training is for addressing behaviors that happen specifically inside the home. Some examples would be, resource guarding, aggression with another dog/human in the house, guests manners, jumping/biting, potty training, door dashing, barking, etc.

This visit can be up to 4hrs long and requires cooperation with owners of the pet(s). Owners will be taught and shown techniques to reduce unwanted behaviors along with techniques and resources to increase good behaviors.

We will also teach any basic cues your dog does not know like place, down, come, leave-it, etc. This is hands-on training with the trainer, owner, and pet, along with having opportunities to practice new techniques to instill new habits.

Walk n’ Train

This service includes convenient in-home pick-up, where I take your dog out for personalized training tailored to fit your lifestyle. It’s perfect for busy owners who don’t always have time to work on training. The focus shifts from in-home behaviors to real-world manners, such as sitting politely for pets, staying calm around other dogs and people, building confidence and social skills, and more.

Training sessions are recommended once a week for at least six weeks, and while pet parent involvement isn’t required, consistent training in between walks can lead to faster progress.

You’ll receive videos and photos of your dog’s Walk ‘n Train sessions, along with tips to continue the training at home.

Policy & Procedures for Walk-N-Train

Groom n’ Train

This training is for dogs who need to build their grooming skills. These dogs may have been sent home from a grooming salon, have been told they need to be groomed by a vet, or just hate being groomed. Using counter-conditioning methods, we are able to teach our dogs to be calm during grooming.

This is an in-home training session that also requires pet-parent participation, and is required before the first grooming appointment.
